Linguistics Professors Samuel Akinbo and Suzi Oliveira De Lima were featured by the University of Toronto Black Research Network in an article on their project to document traditional dishes in Ghana and Nigeria.
The project is funded by a 2024 BRN Ignite Grant, and along with documenting traditional dishes linked to cultural practices, examines the grammar of counting and measuring in the Gã and Yorùbá languages.
