Description

Students of LIN362 Historical Linguistics will be presenting results of their group projects on the linguistic prehistory of several language families (Algonquian, Athabaskan, Austronesian, Bantu, Japonic, Semitic, Sino-Tibetan, Tai, and Uto-Aztecan), drawing on recent inter-disciplinary research involving comparative historical linguistics, archaeology, and ancient DNA. Faculty and graduate students are welcome to stop by!
