I mean, they definitely are the first one, probably. But maybe not the latter two! Did YOU know that professors are actually people? That's right—people, whom you can talk to!

"Talk to my professors?!" You protest, dubious that you, a mere mortal, could ever rise to face so magnificent a challenge as the task of speaking to a human who is older than you. We understand; we, too, have spent many a year being too afraid to approach our professors about our subjects of interest. That's why SLUGS is hosting an event to help YOU, yes YOU, get to know the people who teach you all those nifty languagey things. Have questions about a specific area of linguistics? Wanna know more about research or grad school in linguistics? Or do you just wanna chat? All of these are welcome!
