The department is happy to share the news that Xinyu Liao (PhD Student) has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) student fellowship to attend the workshop Abstract and Item-Specific Knowledge Across Domains and Frameworks and the LSA Summer Institute 2025 at the University of Oregon. At the workshop, Xinyu will be presenting his ongoing GP1 work on word frequency and biases in phonetic recalibration (supervised by Prof. Yoonjung Kang).
